We have software engineers who have internals experience with Windows, DOS, UNIX, and VxWorks and we regularly
do application level development under UNIX, DOS, Windows, NT, RMX, X-Windows, VxWorks, Aegis, and VMS. We have
engineers who can design and implement real-time kernels and associated device drivers and we have experience in
BIOS development.
EASE has experience in both analog and digital hardware design as well as real-time embedded systems. We have the
ability to implement cost effective hardware and embedded software designs in both industrial and consumer environments.
We can work with a variety of DSPs and processors for embedded applications from handheld devices, industrial control
and automation, data acquisition and analysis to wireless products.

Embedded
EASE has extensive expertise with embedded systems including low power design, real-time design, DSP design, control
loop design, FPGA logic designs, system design and integration, board design, design for testability and quality
assurance.
By using more intelligent embedded firmware, system designs can be optimized to achieve lowest cost with the highest
quality. Our embedded expertise can help achieve extreme integration levels resulting in reduced product component
counts resulting in minimum manufacturing costs. EASE offers a multi-discipline engineering team to provide highly
intelligent firmware, digital signal processes and programmable logic.
Application areas where we have embedded expertise include wireless, portable handheld devices, industrial control
and automation, data acquisition and analysis, smart toys and games, home automation and electronics.
We have developed and tested firmware in accordance with rigorous FDA standards for the medical instrumentation
market. We are experience designing, developing and testing for EMC, along with meeting FCC regulations and UL
requirements for wireless and telecommunication applications.

Wireless
EASE has expertise in the design, development and testing of low cost, high volume, high reliability wireless products.
Our skills include analog design, receiver design, antenna design, design for EMC, signal modulation/demodulation
and low power designs for portable wireless applications.
We have experience managing the entire system design from specifications through quality assurance, regulatory
testing and into production. We have experience managing offshore contract manufacturing and are fluent in Spanish,
Japanese and Korean.
Additionally we specialize in wireless LAN technology (Personal Area Networks, PAN) using Bluetooth and IEE 802.11
technologies.

Bluetooth
Bluetooth
allows end users to build wireless links to a variety of devices in support of voice communications and
information and resource sharing. From the simple promise of wireless cables and headsets, to the continuing evolution
of personal network interconnectivity, Bluetooth is the solution. Bluetooth uses sophisticated spread spectrum
technology giving superior voice and data transmission quality.
Bluetooth provides connection to the wireless Personal Area Network (PAN) while roaming with these devices. Point-to-point
connectivity is also achieved between portable devices when they are within range of one another. Bluetooth is
particularly suitable where low power drain is important in applications such as portable handheld devices. Bluetooth
also provides low-cost production hardware solutions.
EASE can provide the skills needed to design, implement and test Bluetooth hardware and firmware technology for
your specific applications. We have very broad expertise with low power, low cost and high reliability wireless
designs. Our ability to develop extreme intelligent firmware allows for cost optimized system designs.
Our expertise includes all aspects of Bluetooth technology from the baseband modulation, frequency hopping schemes,
and Link Management Protocol to the L2CAP, SDP, TCI, and RFCOMM layers of the Bluetooth protocol stack. We are
familiar with all the major vendor ICs and can support implementation of their reference designs. We can implement
extremely small, low power solutions including the necessary protocols required to be a certified Bluetooth device.
We also are familiar with many of the third party software suppliers of the Bluetooth protocol stack. We can integrate
third party software, if available, to offer standard communication interfaces, like OBEX, WAP, TCP/IP, or your
own proprietary interface. These interfaces can give quick support to standard applications.
