We’re excited to announce Ease’s online benefits administration platform for insurance benefits brokers, modernizing the administration of benefits for brokers and their customers.
During the past three years, the Ease technical team, led by co-founder and CTO Courtney Guertin, has created a cloud-based software platform with rich features, an easy-to-use interface that offers one simple solution for a broker’s HR and benefits needs, is priced fairly, and provides great customer support.
Ease’s online benefits administration platform already supports more than 1,000 brokers working with 10,000-plus employers and 300,000-plus employees, making us one of the largest software providers to the insurance industry.
We’ve partnered with the largest General Agent in California, Warner Pacific, which provides health insurance agents in California and Colorado sales assistance, innovative technology and back-office support.“Our partnership with Ease complements the existing suite of technology tools we offer to help brokers and their clients in this evolving industry,” said Jeff Papenfus, senior vice president of sales at Warner Pacific.
Our early success comes from a commitment to helping our customers. We offer live, on-demand training and support. Insurance brokers have never before been able to access cutting-edge software developed just for them. Ease has developed a platform to allow them to focus on what they do best: advise employers and employees on the ins and outs of a complex insurance landscape.
Ease’s online benefits administration features an automated paperless enrollment process; an easy onboarding and offboarding process that keeps employers compliant with the storing of I9, W4 and other forms; a secure document library; and we provide benefits statements and rate quoting.
We have a heritage in the benefits brokerage industry – our team has a combined 100+ years of insurance experience. In the decades since we started worked in this industry, broker’s need for effective software has only grown. We’re proud to take on this challenge.
“Ease’s early traction with benefits brokers demonstrates the need to modernize the delivery of benefits, especially for small businesses,” said Dave Samuel, co-founder of Freestyle Capital. “David and team have a great opportunity and they will succeed because they’ve developed great software that does what it should and that’s easy to use.”
Funds will be used to accelerate the expansion of our team and operations, as well as the markets we serve. We’re adding to our team in San Francisco, we’ve already expanded our Customer Success Management Center in Las Vegas to nearby Summerlin, Nevada, and we’re opening a second location for product development and customer success management in San Diego on Oct. 1.
